Budget Built Personal Grow Box

This is my first grow box, but I wanted to build it for 75 bucks or cheaper... I ended up spendin about 82, but you may be able to do it cheaper...

let me know what yall think...,

KEEP IN MIND IM ONLY GROWING 1-3 PLANTS FOR PERSY...

Looks good! About the same size as mine except I used flat white for the inside. Pretty cool we're about on the same time frame with our babies! What strain are you growing?

looks neat but wouldstart bigger unless going for lowryders etc, your only gonna extend anyway, oh, cfl good for stealth and veg, look into hps for flower

Lookin' good man!:clap: I see the lights are a cool white(2700k +/-) right now. IF you have a few extra bucks, you might consider buying daylight(6500k) for veg. Other than that, looks good! I have just started using square pots as opposed to round ones because they allow you more usable space. You might also want to look into LST for limiting your heighth. I think if you use both square containers and LST, you could fit at LEAST 1 more lady in there, maybe 2? Might have to add more light, which may raise temps, but that's all up to your individual set-up and preferences.:leaf:

yeah, I want to get better lights but no one around carries anything, I've tried H.D, LOWES, PUBLIX(had the best and higher wattage for better price), good ole wally world doesnt even carry anything.... i havnt found one light that says 6500k....

and yes, I am going to square pots and I'm goin to top one of my ladies just past the fourth node(then lst from splits), and I'm goin to do the LST tie down method on the other... just tryin differant things to see what i can get for results... as for lights and temp, I'm adding a duel bulb fixture at top(when i get new bulbs...) and I re-did the intake and exhaust fan setup... with 5 lights on in the middle of the day (when its at the hottest in my home), the box only gets to 82.1F ... so, ill have better bulbs and cooler temps,

UPDATE.... the box only gets to 82 degrees F at 2 inches from bulbs and 77.7 at the top and bottom of the box... The girls are lovin the cool weather!

Todays Update:
--- I gave the runt to a friend, and started new seeds, two have popped tails after only 16 hours... I think this is awesome!

----- My Method--I put them into a paper towel, then I wrapped the towel in DARK colored washcloth that is soaked in HOT tap water, then I put them into a ziploc bag and breath out into the bag before closing...
Next, I put the ziplock bag into the hottest spot in my grow box(which is only 82.7) and let it chill... thats it...

Now look how good my little girl is doing...

real nice pics mate.. so you've spent just 82 bucks for the whole thing? including the lights?

sure did! but i need to switch out 2 of my 2700k 42 watt cfl's for 2 6500k lights for veg stage, its a whiter light that helps in the growth satage...

I saw your grow thread and i left you a comment as well, click the link on my comment to that thread for" lumens and lux " and check out some more lighting threads for knowledge, you don't want to waste 3 1/2 months of growing your baby just to get weak results because of a dumb bulb....
