I've recently moved onto a property with a room set up to grow in I'm onto my second grown.. first one was adjusting this one is running smoothly but two plants have picked up what I think is russet mites .... only two plants while speaking to the property owner he previously had a mite infestation and used predatory bugs to solve it ... somehow maybe off his property or drift or laying dormant the bugs have returned and I'm looking for a quick way to dispose of them ordering predatory bugs might take a while to get here and a while to work any suggestions and positive is on these bugs ? I've used a thrip solution as I thought they was thrips it stopped them for a few days but under a microscope they're still thriving any help or suggestions are welcome Thankyou

Yup those are unfortunately russets. If u are in veg get a bottle of Bioworks suffoil X. Best money you will ever spend. If the plants aren’t too big look up the dunk rates(much lower that foliar rates). Dunk the whole plant in the solution. Move them around under the solution for a few seconds. It will kill all the russets(in my experience in just one application). Suffoil X is my fav IPM product ever. And last I checked it was 85 bucks for 2 or 2.5 gallons. I still have my first bottle that I bought a few years ago. It’s an oil so u can’t use any suphur which people are about to suggest(combination will burn your plants). While sulphur works great as well, Suffoil X has a higher efficacy against these evil bastards in scientific trials by lead entomologist in the cannabis field. If you are in flower that is a different story as I wouldn’t put anything on flowering plants. Also predatory insects are best used as a preventative not for eradication. While it might knock the populations down a bit you won’t eradicate them. Also heavly clean your grow room with a bleach solution. Even better in between grows(no plants in the room) do a sulphur burn if the grow is sealed and can be ventilated after the burn. It can be toxic to humans so do some research on how to do that. Good luck. I have dealt with them twice and Suffoil X helped me eradicate them during veg and I flowered that room with no russets at all.

If u can’t get it there then look for Micronized wettable Sulphur. While that isn’t my go to many people swear by it and I bet you can get that over there. Just remember you can’t use oils and sulfur within weeks of each other. For example if are using a need oil u can’t sulfur or vice versa. Also Bioworks has great customer service. Call them and see what is or isn’t available to you. Also I believe that Monterey Horticultural Oil is very similar to Suffoil X.
