building a growbox

i need some ideas on what to use to build a 1foot by 2 1/2ft tall box into a growin machine. im just going to be getting the plants started then plant outdoors. whats a good light to use that will fit easly? is there a light socket that i can just mount to the top. any ideas would be helpful.
 
My box really isnt the best but it is the size u are looking for. Check out my grow log...maybe u can get some ideas
 
you want to build a grow box of 1x2x.5ft?? get a cheap wooden box or a big moving box for that;) paint it flat white on the insides and get CFLs with 6500K/cool white light running in there on 18/6h. keep the CFLs an inch away from the tips;)

and hey, no tin foil in there!! will create heat spots;)
 
and if you still want to build your own, wooden chipboards and battens, 2 hinches for the lid, maybe a pattlock fixture, lamp sockets type E27 (standart sockets;)) bucket flat white paint or panda foil (black/white foil) and you are all set:) oh, you will need some tools:D
