building an undercurrent system. how high should i drill the holes for the pvc?

why not just look around im sure cat litter buckets r square. I seen a post somewhere on here where someone used them.

I would break it down into 4 individual 12 bucket systems, if you are dead set on the 1.5" PVC....
I was gonna say this myself...I built an 8 site UC using 5gal buckets plumbed with 1.5" pvc and uniseals. I use a 350 gph pump and have no flow issues.

Uniseals will easily deal with the curve of bucket...unless you've drilled the hole too big...and that would have to be WAY too big

I pick my system up by the return manifold to drain it back to the controller...no leaks

I'm trying to build a RDWC system using the UC setup. I am wondering if I just drill a hole at the very bottom of the bucket and connect the water flow pipes to it connecting to the next site/node with a tee, will it circulate the water like how UC has their setup? Image attached
