BulB Replacement?

How often do you guys replace your bulbs? I have 2, 8 bulb 4 ft t5's, and 1, 4 bulb 4 ft t5. Been around two years of on and off use. Is it time to revamp them or what? If so Is spectralux the ideal or something else?

This is just me but I usually change mine every six months sometimes ill stretch till nine. Not sure if its optimal changing times but that's usually when mine will get replaced.

Yeah about every 6-9 months is right or 3 grows on a set of lights is good rule to follow

4500 hours use i believe is correct with some tubes. that would equate to like 6 to 8 months of usage.

If you start seeing a reduction in weight then it is time to replace for sure.

Bulbs can pay for themselves when replaced at 6 months due to the gain from lumen loss .. So with that said remember after 6 months that your not getting the fullest potential from your lighting system but then again this may not be an issue if your content as some people go a year or more with no problems ..
