Burping???

Ok I hung my buds for 4 days now the stems bend without breaking I just put them in 4 large mason jars.. Question is how long should I do this and when should I burp the jars?

i usually start buy opening and closing them for 12 hours at a time. after the first 12 hours if the buds seem really wet i would pour them out and let them air dry for a few hours then close the jar up for another 12. use ur best judgement and and decrease the amount of time open based on how wet they are after being closed up. i usually burp for about a week or so and then i leave the jar closed. hope that helps good luck!

thanks alot. I keep hearing to put the jars in the fridge. Should I store the jars in the fridge while i'm cureing???

I never have and I've never had a problem with it. I keep them in a dark place.

maybe sometime try throwing them in a paper sack with the lid slightly folded for a few days. then jars. imo makes a difference in smoothness. and the bud is more ready for the jar.
