Bushy plant, three to four weeks into flowering, revegging for two weeks on summer solstice

Hi,

I have two of these babies outdoor, which started flowering early than expected. It is very noticeable now that they revegged.
I am a lazy grower and would like to leave it outdoors until it finishes naturallt, it would be too much work (and also to easy to forget) to bring the plant in/out every day or to cover it to make it back to flowering. I am also not sure if trying to revert flowering would be too much of a stress and make it hermie...

My questions are:

- What will happen to the small buds? Will they decay or will they resume someday?
- Should I leave the small buds or remove them?
- Should I prune it? How?

mel thomas talks about a technique like this in his book. I wouldn't worry about those small buds, most likely you will get some stretching out of where the buds are and if they die, they die and you will be able to pluck them off easier once theyre dead, or roll them in your fingers, before buds can grow around them.

It's a technique called secondary budding and has been done before I just can't find peoples experience with it

In your opinion, do you think I could trim the existing buds (and enjoy them) or will this stress the plant?

It's the buds that will reveg into branches so leaving them is critical if you want the plant to survive, reveg and then flower again.
