Butane Extract -> Vape Oil or eJuice?

Tomorrow my friend will help me extract 225 g of bud/trim using butane. He has some kind of special cold method to purge the butane without heat.

My question is: how does one turn the output into vape oil or ejuice?

More that likely it’s a bomb , oop’s i mean tube that you will pack and then empty your butane through catching your extract mix.

Warmer water under your containment bowl would boil the crap out of it evaporating most of the butane , or just time .

Then blob of reside and traces of butane would then be purged in a vacuum chamber to minimize all butane,(shatter) then you would move on to cutting for your ejuice.

So my buddy used another method to purge using cold ice around the receiving material chamber for 24 hrs which pressurizss it to filter up into another chamber. But he said we have to let it cure sitting on glass for 1 month!

Question is. Can I just decarb the output and mix low heat with some terpines and then it will be ready for vape oil pen? I must wait the month for curing I assume...

If using oil through a pen then I would think that your would be achieving hot enough combustion that the thc would activate through the pens heat and not in the mixing process.

I thought most cases one would decarb if activation needs to take place prior as heat would not be involved later, eg , gummie or butter for short baking cookies.

Going out on a limb, sitting on glass would be his purge as per say for excess butane.

My understanding is that vape pens only heat the oil a little bit to make vapor, but not enough to decarb which is why various youtube oil making videos show the process of bringing it to a simmer until the bubbles stop in order to decarb. This could help with the viciousness and combined with liquid terps. might be able to make the oil. I was hoping someone here knows more about this process (starting with butane extract) than I do and can advise, any particular forum member someone might recommend we contact?

After a month of purging I think I need to use a technique here... decarb, mix with terps. Done. Sound right?
