Butane Help

Can anyone tell me how long should i push butane through my diy honey extractor.I am not sure how to gauge amount of butane used ie:-12oz-6oz etc etc.Extractor dimentions are,300mm(12in)long and 15mm(3/4in)diameter.

I blast a whole can thru 10x R.....Please don't blow yourself up.
