Buying a clone, couple questions...

okay, so i've only ever grown from seed. i'm buying a clone from the despencery in my city. It will be on a light cycle already, but i need to change it to 7am to 7pm (YES i'm doing 12/12 light cycle from vegitative state.). How can i change the light cycle on a vegging plant without killing it with stress?

just do it...really that easy...

have you vegged it yet? them change the time to whatever you want. i do mine over night (then i dont have to use a heater at nigh. keeps the room nice and warm. [foot of my bed]) ofcourse i vegg under 24/0 light.

After the lights go off just keep it in the dark for at least 12 hours until your lights come on at 7am. An additional 8-16 hours of darkness between veg and flower won't stress it at all. I hope I understood the question.

Thanks a lot guys. I think i got it.

One other question, I have a grow box using CFL's, and i'm going to try a new method of, during the dark cycle, i will move the plant into a storage container with a fan, in complete dark untill 7pm when i bring it back into the growbox with lights.

Do you think this will cause any stress? I think it's fine, i just wanted some other opinions.
