Calcium Def, PH dropping, bright green/yellow leaves

First off, overview of what I'm using

10 gallon DWC
distilled water
dynagro nutes
vanilla kush scrog about 5 weeks from seed
Air temps always in low 70s
Res temps always around 65
Nice white roots.

So 2 days ago I noticed the leaves looking a little skinny, a bright green/yellow color, and I noticed some more rust spots on somewhat new leaves. This is only my second grow so I'm still learning a bit with nutes, so I've been keeping it low until I see a problem with the plant. 2 days ago the PPM was about 250. Whenever I would add a gallon of water I'd put in 1.25mg of cal-mag (sometimes I'd skip this as it was raising the PPM too much if I kept adding cal-mag, and the plant seemed fine). So anyways, 2 days ago when noticing these problems I did some research and it looked like I could have a calcium def, magnesium def, and possibly nitrogen. I figured that being at week 5 I could safely bump up the PPM. I added in about 5mg of cal-mag, and some dynagro, just the grow part, and got the ppm up to like 350 yesterday, this morning the plants looked a lot better so I added a little more cal-mag and dynagro and got the ppm to around 400-450. Is this low for the stage I'm at? Right on track? Too high? The pics I've attached don't show the bright green/yellow issue, but it was from the center of the leaf out, it was not on the edges at all, it looked like magnesium def... The leaves are a better color now, but still seem a bit too yellow. I'm just going to let time pass and see what happens. The other issue I've noticed is my PH dropping. I can use ph up to get it to around 6.0, and by the next morning it's usually at 5.5, sometimes 5.4, 5.3. Just seems like a big jump down just overnight. And the PPM drops as well, usually about 10-20ppm overnight. Does this mean I should feed more? Is the plant taking up more nutes than water?

All help is appreciated. Things seem on track for now, just curious about the PH and PPM. And if I diagnosed my problems correctly.

it def looks like a micro-nutrient def. i would try a feeding of some micro nutes, best of luck, pm me if you need more help. bye!

adding pH up straight to soln without diluting first is a mistake. It causes micro lockout. You need to dilute your pH up adds in a bucket first and then add them to res. Peace.

Ok, just wanted to add new pictures. Maybe I'm making something out of nothing, because it is still growing obviously as you can see from the pics. I feel like it should be growing faster... I tried to get better shots of the light green/neon green growth that comes in.

Root ball is HUGE and roots are nice and white.

PPM is currently at 500, should I bump it to 600 and see how that works?
PH is still fluctuating down about .5 every 24 hours

Would the light/neon green new growth be because of a mag def? Does a nitrogen def show on new growth? or only old growth?

I'm using dyna-gro Grow for this plant, but based off the first responders recommendation I did add MORE cal-mag and I even used some of the "Micro" I have from my GH Flora Series nutrients.

Am I over-reacting? Should I just shut up and let the plant grow like it is? Should I try to feed it more? Should I switch nutrients? I have veg+bloom, GH Flora series, and Dyna-Gro grow and bloom formula.

This is the best shot I have for the color of the new growth, very bright, almost neon...

I've got nothing to do today, so I'm going to drain my bucket, fill it again, etc... I'm hoping this fixes the PH issues and maybe the potential lockout I'm having... All replies still appreciated, just figured I'd post that so everybody knows my next plan in trying to fix this. Can't hurt it...

I replied aknight3...

Here's an update for anybody else looking at this thread.

My fucking water pump burned up while I was draining my res so I had to drain the water the old fashioned way, siphoning the water out... ONLY problem with this was the physics behind it... I can't lift my res bucket to have gravity on my side to drain the bucket COMPLETELY. So what I did was siphon as much water out as I could, then I filled it back up with straight tap water, drained it as much as I could again, and did this process about 4-5 times until my PPM meter read almost exactly the same as what my tap water normally is (90-110 ppm). At this point I filled the rest of the res up with distilled water, 2ml of cal-mag, and 7ml of dyna-gro per gallon of distilled water. After this the PPM read 490 and the PH was around 7.0... I put in a little PH down, and now I'm just waiting for the PH buffers to work to see exactly what the PH is, so I'll test PH again in 1-2 hours as well as the PPM. As the bubbles move around in the tank the PPM can raise and lower depending on how good everything is mixed together so I just have to wait a little bit for everything to mix up to get an accurate reading on PH and PPM...

I spoke too soon... PH issues started back up again... I drained res again and I'm now using ONLY veg+bloom nutes... nothing else in the water... PH is stable again now and has been for over 24 hours... I'll keep watching but it might appear to be bad nutes... I'll update this thread again later.
