This. No reason to add Calcium when you get that Magnesium deficiency (and vice versa).Personally I like the mono's.
It means if you have a mag def you can treat with just mag.
Or if you have a Ca def you can treat with just Ca.
With RO you want to add around 100ppm of each Ca and Mg to sustain healthy growth.

Something else however to bare in mind with the mono's is that too much of one can cause what appears to be a deficiency in the other.This. No reason to add Calcium when you get that Magnesium deficiency (and vice versa).

Your water is not equivalent to everybody else's water and is not a relevant comparison.I have used tap water for 3 years and my plants average 4 oz's per plant at 35" tall indoors. This with colas the size of a large mans forearm. This weed needs not perfect water. The $ and time and effort to use RO water is not worth it. But it sure can't hurt right. Well just look what u now have to f with. Cal/Mag, ect. Only thing really in most tap water to worry about is clorine and Minerals. Thing is the chlorine is gone in no time and the minerals are good for and absolutely required by the plants. You just throw out the good stuff and have to go out and buy it for if u know anything, a butt load of money for what it is. Like buying plastic, it is so cheap and Calcium and Mag are so cheap and easy to find u pay a mark up of around 10000 times what the minerals r worth. The plastic bottle and label on Cal/Mag is more valuable than what is inside. Use real, tap water and f the bs about problems with it. Hype is hype. Just go read about the 42% thc strains, To funny. And complete fiction.
