Cameras and Pictures

OK, so I have used this site as many others for great advice. While reading threads ect., I have noticed that some, not all, but some take terrible pictures..some even have time stamped dates that are several years ago. A picture is, as they say worth a thousand words. So the pics should be the best quality to get the best advice. I am new to growing, but not so new to taking pics. Would anyone be interested in a little thread/guide of cameras and settings ect. to help everyone out? Like just say what you shoot with and what settings? I use mostly a Nikon Coolpix S52...easy point and shoot...But also use a Canon Rebel....If you have a DSLR, I would recommend a 50mm lens...awesome closeups. But I was just thinking that we could all help each other out, cuz I have seen some killer shots. just a thought.

Hey man, that would be a big help. I only have a camera phone, but I can adjust the exposure, the iso, and a few other things. If you could give a run down of how to take the best pics, with anything, that would be huge. It would be a much appreciated addition to the community.
