Can Anyone answer several questions for me?

bongsmilieHello everyone! I am a home grower by the name of "loststrain" which is a type of hash I make. I am in need of some more advanced advice from different growers. I have had several posts but not many replies. Well anyway. I have six plants right now, one flowering and five clones. If anyone could leave some advice or needs further information, START POSTIN:weed:bongsmilie
 
ok so the past few times I've grown indoor good bud it was SMALL and stopped growing after a while. BUT the plants were like fucked up prettyy bad, but should i expect small shitty buds on a GOOD DANK clone thats HEALTHY and 30 inches+?

It would help if you gave a little information about the grow room like lights, medium, size of container, etc.
 
well the lights are unique because I got em from a growin buddy. But they are 4ft General Electronics grow bulbs. It doesn say what watt, but they are purplish. I have had it on 12/12 for about two weeks. It's a clone from the strain "razzamatazz" and it's wild. But I am just a little nervous about if it will have big buds or not. But I am feeding it with some bloom plus 10-60-10 and the directions say water everyday with 1/4 tsp to every gallon. and I've been doing that, but I just recently skipped a day because it showed signs of over water,

Weed grows better in an arid soil which means you want it to get almost dry before you re-water.

It sounds like you are growing with flourescent grow bulbs. You will likely get light wispy buds as the energy from the bulbs just isnt enough to create the type of buds you would find with an HPS light.

ok so you saying that the buds were small, or that the plant was small?
and what do you mean the plants were "fucked up prettyy bad"

and i dont know what to do with this

a good dank clone thats healthy wont make small shitty buds.

but seriously though. could you possibly phrase your question with a few more nouns verb's and adjectives?
 
So it's almost not even worth it? I mean where I am it's kinda expensive weed. So out of a healthy 30 inches+ plant with GREAT long nodes about 16-24 inches long. How much bud should I expect it to yield?

I havent heard the length of nodes being important in yield before.

However, more light is better so I think additional lighting would help, yes.
 
I would let the soil dry out completely before the next watering and I would get some more lights cause the tubes wont penetrate deep in the foliage also its hard to get a good yeild off them tubes at least get you some CFLs it will improve your yeild big time over those tubes!
 
Okay cool. I need more socket adapters because I'm currently using two on the clones which are doing GREAT, i'm just over watering some. Thank you so much btw. And I'm new on here so I have a question. Why is there a lock by my posts?
 
also. we still need more light information.

how many of those 4 ft bulbs are you using?
how much area are they covering? how wide and deep is the grow space?
how many plants do you ultimatly plan to support in there?
whats your maximum vertical growth limit?

deff put on the cfls they will help alot.

and a brief word on node length.
generaly speaking each node is a potential budding site. the more nodes you have per vertical foot the more "potential" bud you have.
usually alot of distance between nodes is a sign of too little light
 
Thank you NOWitall and I have two in right now but im going to concentrate more on the cfl's. I have one in there it's about a 10 foot deep and about 4 square feet maybe five so it's prettty roomy. Housed up to 7 plants before. But my plan is to put in the cfl's, and put one at the bottom for the bottom leaves. I am gonna give my plants a few day break for a while. And ULTIMATE housing will be around 3 plants. Want pics?
 
I have approx four 28w bulbs, three 23w, one 26w, and three 13w cfl's I can add to the 80w of grow tubes. Would that help?
