Can Anyone Help With Poppy Growing?

I am going to start growing tasmanian poppies indoors and i have some questions about it..

I was wondering if there is any way you could grow poppies with cfls?

Also is there any way to keep the poppy plant short? Without affecting the yield too much of course

If there is any other tips you would like to give me that would be great
