Can I add hps with my MH in flower room?

Hey guys I'm a few weeks into flower and I have a MH running but I want to put my hps light in to for more broad spectrum. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to throw the plants off by adding a different spectrum of light while already been flowering under just MH for two to three weeks.. thanks for the help guys..

Outstanding! Thanks.. I'm alsowanting to lollipop and wanting to know the best time to do it and the answers I'm getting are across the board. Some say in veg a few weeks befor before the flip and some say a few weeks in flower is the right time.. just wanting to get the best results with this method..

I would lollipop a few weeks before flowering to give plants a chance to recover.
It can be done in early flowering too but i dont like the idea of stressing plants during the most critical growth stage. So i would do it during veg.

I like to top my clones as soon as the have four or five good nodes. Maybe once again two to three weeks into veg for larger plants. But I'm a straight into flower don't waste time vegging guy. Typically 3 weeks veg time from clone and straight to flower which is why topping early will be your best bet. Plenty of time for plant to recover and give you nice colas. 3 gallon pots 12 under 600 watt light. 1.5-2 oz each easy pz
