Can I become a patient without moving to a MMJ State

Does anyone know if i can get a card in oregon or california and maintain my residency in another state? i know you need to have proof of residency to get a card. but that can easily be worked out.

If you had a state card and moved.That card is no good.Waist of money.Michigan is the only state that welcomes other state cards.
