Can i clone 2 wks into flowering?

I am 2 weeks into flowering, and I'm wondering if its safe to clone without hurting the mother? I also want to know if its ok to just use soil when I plant the clones?

yeah you can clone but what r u going to do with the clone it will take about 3 weeks to bring the clone back to veg state after 2 weeks of rooting time...yes u can use soil to not over water the soil.....the first week the clone will feed though its leaves because it has no roots...do you have root tone to dip the cuuting in?it is best to clone when plant is in veg...good luck......p.s.it took me about 5 tries be4 i got a clone to root.....so stay with it

I was planning to use the clones to have a head start on the next cycle and the assurance of females. These were bagseed. Out of luck 9 were females out of 10. I had read something saying you can put them into flowering just long enough to get sex and put back into veg for clones. I have schlutz root hormone.

yeah you can do that.....but it will be a month before they return to veg.state......
if you are going to do that then take one more clone then u need and keep that one in veg.so when u flower your clone you dont have to take one and return it back to veg.state
