You can clone from a clone from a clone from a clone ad infinitum. Anyone telling you that you will lose potency is talking bullshit. :-D

After a clone is rooted in soil can I clone it?
Of course you can man...what I would do if I were you is veg that clone for about a month and then take multiple clones from her!!! while those clones are doing their thing it will give your mother a chance to heal and grow and you can repeat the process!!!

yep, clone it a couple of times, then put in 12/12, the best looking female put it back into veg, take a couple of clones and repeat.

using this system of "weeding" (pun intended) the best clones you might come across your own version of super dank bud, by singling out the best traits in your particular strain... it might take you a few generations but go for it....

perhaps the DNA gets weaker with every cloning - we'll have to infuse them with fresh blood from the crew of the Enterprise...

I thought i heard it all... A rooted clone is a whole new plant. Think of it like a coral, the coral starts budding (were a piece of coral falls off and grows a new one) then it matures into a whole new coral. Afterwards that new coral can bud, and there the cycle of life continues. Sorry about the sarcasm :(
Good Luck
