How tiny branches can one clone?
I want to go to flowering but not before i get at least one clone from each plant. I dont know if any of my six plants are males so i want a clone from each so I can make a mother out of one.
But...some of the plants have just tiny branches although they are taller than those who have bigger ones.
Al the branches are on their second node.
The plants are just 1/2 a foot tall but 1.5 feet wide. My closet dont have room for the width so i must flower so I can identify and kill of the males....

In a word, no. You'll want to bury about an inch of the cutting in whatever medium you're using.
I find you get better results with bigger clones, as they have more leaves to feed off while they're growing roots. Generally I'll cut about 6-8", and I can't remember having a successful clone that was <4".

Damn and damn and...damn. Well well. I just have to build another shelf in my closet to make room for them so they can get all little bit taller(more light bulbs , dont like). Didnt think they would get that wide before they grew tall.....

Actually you can.

I had a sprout that had his first 2 real leaves break off the stem. He was like 3" in total height

I stuck him in a DWC bubbler system, so that only the leaves are visible, the rest is submerged

And in about 2 weeks he gave roots. Now he is stuck in a cup with an air stone and on 12/12. So far growing good.

Other sprouts from that same grow that broke off were a bit bigger - 4-6" and they're already 10" high and in soil growing fast.

you can clone as long as the clone has 3 nodes i have heard.

mine always had 3 nodes and i get about a 98% success rate. my clones are always under 5 inches total height and i use those peat pellets for cloneing

Careful, referring to the plant as a he might just stress it enough to grow balls... ;-)
