Can i lower my PH with lemon juice?

Just wondering if this is a bad idea or not. I think my PH is too high and i would like to know what rate to apply it to my plant? I don't have a soil PH meter which i really need ASAP but until then i have already tried raising the PH and fixing my deficiency problems but so far no help. I am hoping lowering it might do some good.

maybe, if you have a ph reader you should try., but why be cheap when up/down only run $10 a bottle.

What are you growing in? Soil?

You can lower your pH with lemon juice but don't try to constantly raise and lower it if you are growing in soil. You need to be consistant and soil is the most forgiving of all grow mediums.

You really need a pH meter if you plan on changing it, but don't go overboard.

Good to know. How much should i apply? 1-2 table spoons per gallon? More? Less?
