Can I supplement light from the bottom?

I already have a hps above the plants but I have a t-5 just laying around so I was thinking about throwing it in there too. The easiest way for me to do that is by laying on the ground slightly propped on one side to angle it towards the plants, with the lights facing up of course. Anything wrong with this idea? seems a little unnatural to me to have the light coming from the ground. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

It is perfectly logical, and will help the bottom popcorn buds grow with more clout.

only problem is - the cells that are responsible for photosynthesis are located ON TOP of the leaves, not the bottom.

you'd be better off LST'ing, and tying back the branches that are blocking light from the lower growth. And add the T-5 to the side instead of the bottom.

I was afraid someone would say that haha, I was trying to avoid hanging it sideways because there's no immediate easy way to do it. I'll stop being lazy and figure it out thanks
