M maz80 New Member Aug 7, 2018 #1 Hey guys, I recently purchased 1000w led from Amazon (one switch) and I'll grow my first 4 seeds. Can I use it for germination and veg if I put it far away or I should start with CFL ?

blake9999 Well-Known Member Aug 7, 2018 #3 I would use the CFL. Those lights, although it's NOT 1000Watts, are a little much for just starting out.

CobKits Well-Known Member Aug 7, 2018 #8 link your "1000W" light and we'll try to advise on what it will actually be able to cover. no reason to veg more than you'll be able to flower
