can some one tell me please

hi i am growing a 1 white widow hydro under 2 x 200 watt envirolites in a medium sized cupboard , but i have a 600 watt sodium light also , can i change the lighting she has been in flower for nearly 2 weeks now , what are the pros and cons and what will people recommmend is the best bearing in mind i have no extractor and no way of controlling temp , she seems to be doing fine under the evl at least she is not getting too hot in there i am looking to get a good yeild from her, and another question the buds are now coming does that mean she has stopped getting taller do buds form from top to bottom or from bottom to top if you know what i mean , the buds that have started to appear will that be the top of the bud or the bottom , sorry i am new to all this only grown in hydro once before but under sodium , i got 8 oz of 1 plant but weed was shit think it was either to do with temp control or it was a shit seed as it wasnt compact please can anyone give me some advice thanks
