Anyone know whats goin on here?? my leaves are kind of curling up a bit. they almost look a little wilted. All of them seem to have slight signs of this. also on of the plants has a nute burn by the looks of it as you can see by the discolored leaf. any thoughts on this?

what are you using for lights and soil mixture(looks like enough perlite which is good)? And are you using nutrients already? (if so did you splash some on the leaf?) If using nutrients already...why? its a baby...the soil probably has enough nutrients in it unless its mostly peat moss...

im using pro mix something or other. I was originally in a schultz potting mix in party cups and i transplanted into the pro mix and i watered with nutes because the pro mix is nute free. i may have splashed some on the leaf i suppose. What about the wilting?? i could see it being underwater but im not sure each plant should be getting. its the first time ive used 5 gal pails. i dont want to over do it tho either

with how small they are i'd go for underwatered...a good watering guide for good soil is about 1gallon of water for each 5 gallons of soil...so you'll want to give it about a gallon of water eventually, but i'd probably do about 1/2 gallon right now since they are still pretty small...did you drill a bunch of holes in the bottom of the pot to make things drain out good? I like to put a 1" layer of crushed rock in such big pots at the bottom so when water reaches the bottom it comes right out instead of sitting there finding the holes.

any idea of the PH of your water and soil? I imagine the soil is probably right around 6.7-6.8 as promix is easy to work with...i'd increase the water a little bit and see how it does for the next week.

id add to that, its really good to water till some runoff comes out of the bottom.

lift the pots before you water (when they are dry)

then measure that weight against the weight when they are wet to know when to water. (its ok if it gets bonedry, but you should water right then and rather bit sooner (before they wilt but after the pot has dried out good (thats why the weight test, finger down tells you little about how it is down in the pot (dont want to create a swamp)

Looks like a watering issue to me. By how dry the pots look it seems like underwatering. I personally don't like to let the pots on most of my plants get dry enough that there is a gap between the soil and the inside of the pot. It's like a sponge, when it dries it kind of shrivels up...

Lift the pot, if it's light, water. Also lift it when it's watered so that you know how heavy it feels when it's saturated.

hmm, i should have put rocks bin the bottom. didn't even think of it. It should still be ok i'm thinkin, but i will do that next time
