Can someone tell me to be patient?

I know, it's been asked and told a million times I'm a complete noob.

For the experienced folks, at precisely what date, hour and second should I pluck these? When the moon hits 3/4? Na just joking!

At least 2-3weeks? 4-5?
2 different unknown strains running. 1 plant seems "not well" her sister turned transformer on me, so early retirement. (Front left with what looks like fox tailing but not?) Edit: I'll clarify that there were 4, the sister is front left.

I know a piece of string is as long as the spool holding it but any advice would be appreciated.

Patience grasshopper! At a minimum 2 weeks, probably closer to 3-5 weeks. When 95% + of the pistils have browned and shriveled and the buds have swelled, and you have some amber trichomes, then it's time to consider chopping.

The other option is I harvest in 2 days and let it hang for a week at which point I would be less concerned about 24hrs of storage in a box.

30th would be too soon. Weeks. Buy some to hold you over. You will lose a great deal of potential harvest and sacrifice quality by harvesting now.

I have a smoke alarm inspection on the 1st. I had a property inspection some months ago where I was able to put them in boxes for the day. It's not really a possibility at this stage.

Not a legal state? If it is, let the inspector see them. Good luck either way. Some of the buds look further along than others.

No it isn't.
Also, I could count on 1 hand the number of times I've smoked this year. Used to be a daily smoker for about 15 years. I have indulged in butter from the leaves at flip.
(They are 7 months old due to poor growing practices and not flipping because property inspection was due)
I had to cut one of them that was throwing bananas a few weeks ago, it's was still sticky as fuck and yielded 40g dry. Such a shame as it was the best looking out of the bunch.

Personally i wouldn’t chop them just because of workmen. I would keep them in pot and find a garage or van that could keep them out of view.

Big ass cardboard boxes ( to hold each plant safely ) tape it closed and mark them xmas stuff kept right under their nose.

I love it when people make me 2nd guess myself.
It's gonna be a bit of work. That's basically what I did with my property inspection. But my mate was overseas at the time and left his 4wd here and there's no way they'll fit in a Suzuki swift
