Can two 315 watt LEC's = 1000 watt HPS DE or SE? Temps

I would really like to go QB boards but pulling about 2.5 with old Hydrofarms SE 1000 watt HPS with so so bulbs. The buds are fire. I need to get production amount but not sure QBs can pull big numbers.

I would go with LECs where the bulb points down and is vertical because it is cooler. How would he heat be? Can 2 315 watt LECs match 1000 watt HPS SE or DE? My cost for 2 LEC on th elowest end would be $700. I can probably do 5 QB boards for that.

If you go the LED route, you can always start with a few. Just run them hard. If you decide to move toward efficiency, just add more and run softer.

If you are getting over 1g/w with hps why change? Get a new bulb. And if you want to add a qb or lec to the mix light to try out you should.
