Can UVC light be used to kill any mold spores during drying?

I happen to have a very vintage, hand-held, UVC light that I got at a yard sale years ago. It's supposed to be for some kind of medical use, but I thought it might work to kill any mold spores that might be in the air or on the drying plants before it develop further, so I have been running it over the drying plants in my tent just as a precaution. I know that when the Covid 19 outbreak was going on, lots of people were buying these UVC wands to sweep themselves. They are pretty inexpensive. What could it hurt?

The licensed producers used to or maybe still do that. As far as I know (and I'm not a PhD on the subject but...) it affects the terpenes.
I use ozone, in small doses as a precaution if the crop had anything funky going on...
