If you had pure bottled water with 0 minerals or anything added cant you use that as your calibration solution and calibrate it to 0? Why do I need to have a solution with salts added?
I have not found any bottled h2o that tested 0. I think its better to calibrate to a high number that is common in nute mixes. Everything would have to be perfect for o to work.
Distilled water should read 0... But from what I have read, calibrating to something like distilled water won't work. Calibrating to something as close as you as you are running your soluation at is best...
