Can you cut the leafs?

Say if the plants big and the leafs are big too, and the plant is getting to big for my grow room, can i cut the leafs off the plant ? or will this kill it ?and just leave the stem and the branches and cut the huge leafs is this possible please reply

its kinda like cutting one of your hands off, its just harder to feed yourself.
i only remove dead/damaged leaves. tuck them behind the buds if ur flowering

Ah would it matter if the top leafs are getting alot of light and the lower ones are getting next to no light, Also thanks for the instant reply

Yea but what im asking is, Does it matter if the "big" top leafs are getting alot of light and the next ones down getting only little bits of light, or do i have to add my lights in my room, any other ideas ?

if its green let it be. side lighting is alwyas nice if you can afford/deal with excess heat, but normally if its green its healthy and its doing fine

Minimal reduction of fan leaves IS okay, though your babies need them to survive! Maintain as many of them as you can, but one or two will not mean the end of your garden!

EDIT: How far along are they? If you have excess horizontal space, consider training them toward that direction. If you have $20 to spare, you can look into CFL's to hit those leaves that aren't getting much light.
