I generally use my Cocoa for hot chocolate...but that is another thread I suppose...lol
I recently took over an established grow as the project manager/consultant where the Coco has been re-used quite a bit. As EviMunkee stated, just shift out the roots and dust as needed and add some new material to the mix here and there, should be good. Just make sure you do not carry over pest or disease from old to new. Washing or sterilizing is recommended and if it can sit for a while and completely dry out, that is the best...that way any bugs(eggs or larvae) will die out if they are present.
