I have a Skunk clone in a 3gal soil pot. Will I kill it if I attempt to rinse the dirt off and stick it in hydroton?

you can definitley transplant it. It will stress your plant out severly though. You have to do your best to remove all soil from the roots before you place her in your bucket system. This will send your plant into shock. There are some products available on the market that help your plant through this tough stage. Remember that any stress put on a plant, in one way or another keeps it from reaching its full potential. If it is your only option to repot, do it but do it carefully! If you can avoid the transplant, i would suggest you do so. Respect
