Can you trim an Auto for more Bud Production?

Does trimming an auto produce more bud, as in taking the crown off of the cola top to make it more bushy.

Does any have knowledge of this with an Auto?

I would think it would greatly depend on the auto strain. Some of the old school autos like Lowryder bloom so darn quick & furiously, you really have no chance to try any sensible cropping. Their vegetative state is usually no more than 3 weeks, so by trimming you'll significantly reduce your harvest - IMHO.

I'd think it would be best to try LST with autos, that way you can bush em' out without cutting anything off.

But try a test grow, do a journal. I think it would be cool to see.
