Canadian brother looking for help

Hi folks, wondering if someone can please help me out.

My son suffers from CRPS and requires marijuana daily to help with pain and to relieve nausea.
He will be traveling from Toronto to Anaheim Apr22 to compete in an international university marketing competition.
He has a Canadian federal marijuana licence. He cannot cross the international border with marijuana. He takes a variety of drugs to deal with CRPS, all of which he can take with him except the marijuana.

Does anyone know if there is a short term licence available for travellers? Ideally if he could get a 2 week licence from a dispensary doctor?
No clue how the regulations work in Cali for a sick Canuck who's visiting.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can get what u need In cali and heard they do grant out of state people just have find right Dr u can use hotels address and shit there u go cali resident. Just do some research outside of RIU.

Hmm. I would bring concentrates. If he has a Canadian rec. I don't see an issue leaving the airport. Arriving in Cali, I doubt they will search for weed. I think Ca is next to go full legal.

Well if we can't find a cooperating Dr, he will have to buy from the streets. No way can he take it across the border. So frustrating because he is licensed in Canada, and legitimately needs it to keep the nausea in control.

Not true.. Out of state can go to a California doctor and get prop 215. My uncle did it.. If you want someone to help your son, tell him to go to a MMJ Dr. and pay the $200.

Where in CA? If in So cal I can recommend a doctor in long beach.

missed the Anaheim part, ok so you're close. PM me if you want that doc refferal, it will be $35 buks as a new patient, you can also verify the physician with CA medical board. If it seems a bit cheap, it is. Coupon is in the back of LA times. I've used them with several of my clients, I run a collective.

I'm sorry I didn't respond to your kind post. I had kinda given up and hadn't checked post in awhile.
Anyways, some really good news. My son is in LA, came third in his competition.
He is on a plethora of drugs, but couldn't cross the border with his Canadian licensed mmj. So we were crossing our fingers that he could go a couple of weeks without it.
After three days he started having some serious problems. No breakthrough pain relief, and maybe worst he couldn't stop vomiting.
He contacted an amazing doctor who advised him, and directed him to an amazing dispensary.
I want to say...I am so impressed with your great state of California. The doc and dispensary were very caring and compassionate.
My son can now function, and enjoy spending some time in your beautiful state without the threat of being arrested.
