hey i was looking for lights and there were some that said candle power on them and i was wondering if it was anything like lumens ?

Candlepower and lumens aren't the same thing. A lumen is a way of measuring how much light gets to what you want to light. A candlepower is a measurement of the light at the source, not at the object you light up.
