It is funny when we open our minds.
For 4000 years, ganja was nothing but a relaxing herb. Then less than 100 years ago, CA got sick of Opium, Texas of Pot, Florida of Cocaine (backing the sugar industry for subistutite with Cokea-cola.) and New York got sick of the French Connection Heroin.
So, instead of taxing it, these post-Victorian States, who later brought us Prohibition, decided to Ban IT ALL.
That washed back out into the world in the form of Treaties and later, banking laws.
Now, it is turning again, back to the 4000 year NORML.
