Hey gang..
I'm just wondering if anyone is focused on some decent and identifiable recessive traits they have managed to pin down.
I have been working in two in particular. Living in Canada we are all able to grow plants legally, but some friends are still concerned about the perception of others. Since I'm a big advocate of growing outdoors I have been focused on autos for the Canadian prairies and traits that would be of benefit.
First, stealth mode..I have been working on a Duck leaf...Wallyduck, Ducksfoot..a number of names this goes by..reason here Stealth and discretion. It does not look like Cannabis. I want to create a fast auto version with a diverse Cannabinoid profile and high THC..It's already out there..I just want it stronger!
Second, and more Importantly.. at least to me..I am trying to pin down an auto-topping gene...I have a Girl Scout Cookies Auto Ive been crossing and have had several plants that automatically top themselves at the first node..(into two) Right off the bat..Advantage?
For me, this is huge on a number of fronts, particularily for autos as their fast growth makes for a cluttered canopy..I want to create an inbred line that would allow a plant to grow aggressive without having to dramatically stress it (topping or fimming) to open the canopy.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone else is working on anything interesting?
