Hello, I do understand about 18/6 and 12/12 hours day lights.
Anyone experience with Cannabis Flowering early like July ?
When I look at my cannabis it will be finish in first week of September or the end of September.
I live in Southern Cali. My question is.

What is the yield between cannabis harvest in October vis September.
This is my first cannabis that i have to harvest early. Anyone.?

Thanks

Those hours do not apply to outdoor. Outdoor plants generally start flowering in late July to mid august.
Different finishing dates are for different strains. Sativas go longer while indicas generally finish sooner.
Genetics along with environment has more to do with yields then the time finished.

What about hybrids? They flower earlier or later?

I am in s.cali too and my plant only gets about 7hours of direct sunlight now. My garden isn't facing in the optimal direction. It goes get a lot of general light, but not the direct in your face sun. I see it perk up early morning after about an hour after sunrise. I think this will be ok.

Check out my white cookies in 15gal. Pop seed on June 1. Had a late start.

And do you guys think my pheno is more sativa or indica?

I'm in Cali and several different strains going some are already stacking pretty good and I have another that is barely barely showing anything at all ......as far as harvesting being better in sep or oct .....that makes no difference just harvest when there ready to get best yeild potency etc .....there's no set time .....I'm sure il be cutting very last days of sep but others will be going well into oct ......just let em finish there's no set day/month. Be patient good luck

That is a good mix but to me seems a little leaning on the indica side but only a little.
As far as flowering it is all strain dependent. Most hybrids are oct harvests due to the sativa influence, so sometimes they flower a bit later then their short flowering indica sister.

Only way to know is pop a pack of hybrids of your choice and that’s when it gets fun especially with F1s and F2 s u will see a wide variety ranging from 1 plant is like mom 1 is like. Dad and some are a perfect mix F2 is where u find your unicorns and always keeps a stash of F2s to Bx to your worked line around F5 bx it to a f2 clone u kept for breeding. Sometimes it’s a male not a female that you will keep. So don’t always go feminine seeds reg seeds are more vigorous and healthier in my experience. Yes if u don’t know how to see em till they are flowering then it’s a waste of u do t plan on making seeds for future. I was nervous myself but I’ll take my best male and bring him. In his own tent and force him to drop pollen and I mix with corn starch to strech it out and I’ll hand pollinate the lowers on my female’s of choice. I was surprised that u cover the branches u want Swede with plastic bag mist the plant with water then remove plate and dust away the. Cover back up with pollen in bag a little bit tie it good and mist plant again to keep pollen that might of hit the main kola tie water with make pollen inert. Dont worry if u seed up a plant or 2 all is not lost I always make. Uncle hash with my seeded plants.

5 hours of direct sun is enough the rest can be indirect and it still gives em enough. Some varietals I grow do way better in a shady part of garden then full sun. Like my snowman x Y cut I’ve had this cut for 4 years now it’s a killer pheno my buddy hunted from S1 s he made and I’ll grow 3 of each of my best cut outside in NJ and the shaded plant is always danker just as big and dense but always needs less nutes and water thean the full sun. Where my NorCal gooey x king Louie x Bruce banner cut that I hunted from a limited run from gooey breeder and this pheno is like 75% mom and 25% kings banner. Super dank but needs full sun to really shine they get taller in shady spot but the bud structure isn’t like the full sun one so it definitely strain depending

That’s a sativa leaner from structure and leaf shape. Don’t mean the effect will be more sativa. But the plant will grow well for u
