I am not asking how to make them, There are loads of threads on that.. I am asking which is better for making brownies oil or butter?

well i wouldnt put oil in a brownie, would probly be quite nasty mate so i would say butter.

ok thanks, the only reason i would use oil was brownie kits call for oil instead of butter but if it would turn out better Im all for butter. thanks a bunch

i tried both methods 3 or 4 times each. I only use butter now, the oil just wasn't as potent for me and was also messier

I went with butter and you were right, it came out quite nice.
