quicck question

i suppose after i water cure my oz of bud then make it into cannabutter and then cook it into anything. will there be any smell?

of course i will strain all the dank out of the cannabutter when im making it.

you know this way if i want to bring my spacecakes anywhere they will be totally odorless and will not taste like mj?

can anyone confirm this?

im fresh out so like im waiting for my bag!

Considering my WC buds dont smell when I burn them. I would assume your space cakes would be odorless / tasteless as far as MJ is concerned.

yea thats what im thinking too.

from what i have read watercured buds have close to no smell when burnt. im hoping to make a cannabutter which has very little tinge and close to no smell.

this would make it a really stealthy potent edible

I dont know how stealthy you need but I went through airport security with a small tupperware with 6 chocolate chip cookies. No-one even batted an eye.

Why would you waste the time curing your pot if you are just going to cook with it? But to answer your question, yes, it will still stink. You are not going to cure away the pungent terpenoids that give MJ its smell.

i do not think they have watercured before.

there is another technique that i have seen online which requires you when making the cannabutter to periodically shaked the mixture that the cannabutter is in until all the green and smell has left the butter leaving you with a pure product. has anyone else heard of this technique?

goes smth like while the cannabutter and water mixture have separated you pour out the old water keeping the butter and then add somemore fresh water and then reheat them together and let them separate again. and repeat afew times till all there's no more gunk and no more smell

any ideas?

You mean the method that sloshes pot around in water, breaking off trichomes? Yea, I've done it. Yea, it does take away tons of water soluble compounds (ie chlorophyl), making it virtually tasteless, but DOES NOT TAKE AWAY ALL THE SMELL.

No.

Place cannabis in water, let soak, change the water, let soak, repeat for 7 days.

No sloshing of the water, no trichomes broken off, removing the smell. I have smoked joints in broad daylight with police walking around. I have smoked joints inside of bars, at sporting events, parties, busy streets and not one look or mention from others.

So I would say in MY experience that WC removes all of the cannabis smell. It may smell like something; but it doesn't smell like pot.
