Cannatonic

I see all these advertisements in High Times for Cannatonic and am wondering if anyone has FIRST HAND smoked some of this "great" nug? From my understanding of CBD, to achieve its psychoactive effects, one must also consume THC along with it. Is the low 6.9 % THC worth the extremely high 6.9% CBD? I dont want a high that makes me sleep and doesn't get me baked.

If anyone has any FIRST HAND information on this strain, please let me know, because I dont wanna waste a hundred bucks on seeds. Thanks.

Well i just typed it in to google and it said it has 20-25% thc

Not to be a dick, but do a little more research before you write something please. You probably got that statistic from attitude seedbank. Try checking out the October 2010 issue of High Times or Resin Seeds.com. An advertisement made by the breeder of Cannatonic shows a gas chromatography reading that gives the strain: THC = 6.2% and CBD = 6.92 %. High Times actually gives it medicinal strain of the month.
Just seeing if HT was putting on a buying scam, or if it is really some super fire. Any first handers experience this medicine?

I'm very interested in this. I would love to smoke a 6% CBN plant to really see the effects of cbn vs THC. I'm going to try to get these seeds for next year and grow some sativa's and some indica crosses to grow with them the get the best of every world.
