I Am running in a bubbler clones 14gallons res airstones change rez weekly just cleaned after a month with GH Flora kleen ran 2hrs like bottle states drained as much water as i could filled back up with distilled tap water this would be third feeding i use gh 3 part grow, micro, bloom was always feeding at 1ml each part per gallon everything was fine bumped it up to 1.5ml per gallon added each part seprate in to res stirred and then added second part then 3 part so now this so i have drained res ran water threw rockwool cubes and have just plain ph water in there should i go back to the 1ml per gallon i gave them a spray of ph water today with superthrive its just this one plant a few others tips are down a little anyhelp appreciate thanks Using 4 fluro about 6inch away sprayed when lights are off. Have not added any more nutrients roots are long ppm reading right now is 94ppm/ph 5.8 temp 70. My tap water is 64ppm and i distill it a few days before putting in bubbler also washed off all hydroton rocks and rockwool
I don't want this problem to get anyworse with the others in bubbler
Shoulf i feed it anything or leave it for like 7-9 days

watch how much you mist your plants the little dots could be cause by heat stress. make sure at the canopy of your plants its not over like 80-82 degrees
this looks like a high ph or if you have an ozone generator it is too close but the chances are its chemical burn man dont increase dosage especially since you are using a 3 part nutrient system if anything cut back a little bit anyways flush your plant with clean water and epsom salts soon cause its almost definately chemical burn if you dont do something soon you will lose it

i dunno tho from these pics. compare the symptoms with these on this site and it should help you draw a conc

That def. looks like a ph problem....have you calibrated your meters lately? It can't be over ferting if the ppm is at 94. Especially since the entire plant doesn't seem affected. I wouldn't use the salts...get some clearex it works great. And I doubt its heat stress if you are only using flouro's

if your already using distilled water im not sure there is much you can do to lower it more when mine gets harsh i just use rain water to mix my nutes hardness in water is generally alkaline change your nutes weekly instead of bi weekly too

I Change nutes once a week when i change the water every 3 weeks i run flora kleen threw bubbler for 2hrs and drain as much as i can out and refill with distilled tap water someone said clearex is that the same as flora kleen? You mentioned epsom salts last time used in dirt BADDD scared of that stuff the picture i showed you seems a bit worse today others are still green little diffrenence in greens in some leaves but tthat one plant seems to drooped more will it come back or throw it away dont want the rest getting sick someone told me dont feed nothing else for 7-9 days will they be fine with out food? Just put some more ph down will see later if it comes down

more than not when there is a build up of nutes people try to add more ferts to it to level it but it just throws off the ph more and clogs it up they will be good without food, before you harvest you actually dont feed the plant for a week or two and tell me what epsom salts do in dirt i have no experience with that, i crush it up then dissolve it in water, if you dont do it properly it will reduce the amount of nutrient intake because the tiny crystals that arent dissolved clog the little pores i generally put it into my system every 4th time i change the water with no problems thus far i might wanna try soil tho someday... never know

low ph turns plants pale green this is because it locks out the nitrogen
high ph causes build up of salts some of which can be deadly

Hate to call you out SmokeAron.... but you told me to mix epsom salt with water and I'm growing in soil, which I made clear from the beginning in a separate thread in this forum. Not trying to hijack this thread, so maybe you can explain to pooh3 (and me) what concentration of epsom salt you use, and whether this should only be used in a hydro set up, or soil or both. And what you mean by not dissolving it properly (dissolved means dissolved, right)? Looking for any CLEAR answers... i'm already confused enough!

Epsom salt just seemed to fry last time i used it was dirt and it just tore them apart like they were out in the desert for a day FRIED. I emptied the res when i seen this start and ran water ph distilled over cups before dumping prior to the week of empting it i ran flora kleen threw it for 2 hrs should i still run clearex threw it or is flora kleen the same? NO Nutes are in there now just ph water thats it

Oops I didn't remember that part...I've never used the flora kleen. Does it say it is a flushing solution or is it enzymes?

Flora kleen if your not familiar with it is a salt clearing soulution epsom salt will add salt NO GOOD i think

Some people use salts with good results...but it only took one dead plant for me to throw it out. OK yeah that stuff is the same as the clearex then.

Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate thats exactly what epsom salts are i know now that i was high and saying tbsp when its tsp.i grow hydroponics anyway i have been thru the trial and error stage of dealing with the salts myself make sure it dosent have any additives you dont want any with alot of sodium and to prepare it correctly smash it to hell into a dust then dissolve it in hot water and let it sit for a bit to let the excess settle if you guys want a ton of knowledge get utorrent and download the george cervantes grow video from piratebay.org its great for beginners but hold off on that cause i have to ask my professor about epsom and regular soil just use water until you are sure

as far as dirt i found this

A pH of 6.0 is fine, but I am sure once you add your nutes it will drop a lot. Make sure to pH after mixing your nutes, and only water at like 1/2 strength the first watering or two. And if you do decide to use some epsom salt later on, I would suggest using just a pinch of epsom per gallon.
When I was using GH nutes, I had mg problems a lot, and this corrected them. I used less than a 1/4 teaspoon, which is no where near the table spoon or two that was suggested before. In my experience, you don't want to add more salts to the soil than is needed.
If your pH is correct, your plants will get their mg. But as stated before, your problem will be corrected with a simple feeding due to the fact that they have had no nutes for over 2 weeks. Feed them, and watch em perk right up for you.

^THIS SECTION IS COPIED^

this i know for sure

Mg uptake is ph dependent so correcting the pH may correct the mg deficiency if the ph in the root zone isn't within range you can give all the mg you want it won't be absorbed high concentrations of mg in the medium screws up the ionic balance causing lock outs of other secondary nutes and trace elements.

use water thats been through revers osmosis it pulls out unnecessary salts

im gonna find a dark hole now and post up :blsmoke:

you state But as stated before, your problem will be corrected with a simple feeding due to the fact that they have had no nutes for over 2 weeks. Feed them, and watch em perk right up for you. they have not been fed now for (((2 days))) not 2 weeks
