Can't seem to get vertical growth

My plant isn't growing up. It seems like it is growing a lot of new leaves on the center stem and getting crowded and bushy in the center. The strain is Ice kush(advanced seeds). I've tried moving the lights higher to get her to stretch but no luck. Am I micro managing my plants? Is this actually an issue? The discoloration of the veins worries me as well. Any advice is great, good or bad.

Id say your problem is cfl. I would definitely put them a couple inches away from the plant. Imo its just not strong enough light

I topped it about a week ago. She's about 7 weeks old. I was expecting more height at that age but I'm new at this

Goodluck my friend, sometimes they are bushy small plants, just depends on the strain and geno.

Thanks man I'll add a couple more cfls and increase the distance from light to plant. My next attempt I'll switch to differnt lighting.
