I was wondering, is there something else i can do for carbs in my dwc system. I have big bud already but dont know if i should get the Carbo load to. I read that syrup is good for soil, but is there something else i can use instead of carbo load.

Really, with no ill effects, have you done it personally or know someone that has done it? Thanks I heard of this, but was unsure if it is safe or not. Like using vinegar for ph causes gunk, anyone use it without any ill effects?

I tried the molasses
and it was not good in my hydro.

It gooped up my rez,
and I had to do a clean up job,
before the grow was finished.

I wouldn't worry about skipping the carbo load.

If you have the money,
go ahead and use some carbo load.

Next time, just use Connoisseur,
and you can get great results,
without a lot of additives.

Just add sensizyme,
and a little barricade, for a buffer.

Grow with RO.

yeah molasses and liquid carb load arent very nice in hydro. it makes the water stank and gets a film on the top of the water. plus liquid carb load will raise your ph quicker than you can adjust it. all both of them are is simple sugars that the plants will use to get more energy for development. i have quit using the carb load and am not seeing any difference in the end product as far as size and taste.

hell yeah, big buds no joke! thats one thing you definately want to include into your feeding schedule.

im having trouble with carboload in my system as well never used it before but hydro guy recomended it for taste and yield ive added before and it gunked up my system didnt add it and there was no gunk just added it this time and the gunk is back it looks like bacterial growth almost around the air stone in my res and when I cleaned out the system last time it had a bad smell. Will this harm the plants? Should I stop using it in my hydro? What about in my soil pots?

The bottle of A.N. BudCandy I just bought had a tag wrapped around the neck of the jug that said BudCandy was now Sweet Leaf & CarboLoad put together and that it was 2 of their items for the price of one.

if your using ANY form of added sugars in hydro or aero make sure you dont over do it and dissolve the carbs in hot water before hand the reason its gunking up is becasue its literatly a bottle of carbohydrates ( sugar) i find Sucanat is cheaper and far better to use than carboload seming as i can get a pound of it for like 4 bucks lol
