Carbohydrate question?

I've used flora-nectar in the past and im about to try molasses this time around. I was told i need carbs and that these two things don't give the plant the proper carbohydrates. Is that right and if so any suggestions for a carbohydrate i can use?

Humboldt Honey is a great source, seems like the most diverse. There is also
Carbo Load from AN, CANNA BOOST is really expensive, but people get great
results.... Or you can just go with a basic Unsulphured Black Strap molasses,
found at grocery stores and such.

Feed grade molasses will work just fine, ~$20 for a 5 gallon pail at a feed&seed store.

Or, you can spend way more for the pretty label of your choice.

Blackstrap molasses is the best to use. I am using the full flavor version since i couldnt find blackstrap, i mixed it with a bottle of water and heated it over the stove to make it thinner and more easier for the plants to absorb. Most of the nutrients you buy are made of molasses to begin with, they probably work a little better than just molasses but are like 3 or 4 times as much. Molasses has tons of calcium and trace minerals also Brown sugar would do something for plants but probably not nearly as well as molasses. Bud candy, Carbo load, flora nectar, and Sweet all have Carbohydrates and sugars for plants.

** use about a teaspoon of molasses for vegetative and a tablespoon for flowering or double if mixed with water
