Carbon Filter in Sealed Room, No exhaust

Never used a carbon filter before but if i have a sealed room and use a inline fan to pull air from one side of the room, filter it and pump it back into the room from the other side.. is there any problem with that? sorry sounds like a noob ? to me

You can do that just be aware that over time the temp will rise. Buy using a carbon filter that way is not much different than using a Hepa Air filter. I would recommend cracking open a few windows though so you get some new fresh and cooler air in there however.

Well I am new I like to learn about removing room odor.I under stand carbon filters help. Do I have to extract the air out of the room or can I circulate the air. I am not to worried about heat because I be using LEDs.What are some of the basic for removing room odor?

My sealed room I have a my carbon scrubber on the floor basically scrubbing all the old air. The plants eat co2 which makes fresh oxygen plus you have to check on your babies so opening and closing the door bring in some fresh air but your plants like any normal plant give off fresh oxygen.

Guess i should of said id be running a C02 Tank..

Just dont want the ordor building up and leaking out of the room over time..

Air would be pulled through the room through the filter and pumped directly back in..

Which still create heat be it from the bulbs or from the circuitry and wiring. When you exhaust the slightly warmer air into the room, it's then sucked back into the cab, and it's heated a bit more, which is then exhausted which is then sucked in, a cycle. It does depend on your setup but i'd say open some windows. Physics is physics at the end of the day. With regard to removing odour, that will work.

As has been said, if you are simply re-circulating the air, then you will need a form of replenishment else al of the gasses the plant requires will be used up. Think breathing in and out of a balloon, there is only so much oxygen in the gas available and sooner or later you're not gonna be able to breath

fresh air is crucial to plant health. I would have a carbon filter and suck air through it, then out into some other area of the house (many room s have return vents, use that!). Then, unless ur space is absolutely air tight, air will get pulled in through whatever openings there are (or you can force it in with a fan). Then you shouldnt have to worry about the odor leaking out, because air will be coming in through any cracks or small openings in the box, not out.
