is it ok to have carpet down in your grow room?
your thoughts please

no. hard to clean the soil (if you do soil) and hard to clean the ferts if you spill them


did i mention mold?


just lay tarp or panda plastic over the floor

Its not goin to hurt anything unless ya have a huge grow goin on. You are goin to mess it up with soil,water and what ever so ya may want to cover it with plastic or something.

thanks guys just bought some mylar and silver tape, gona cover it all up.

mylar is easy to rip....shoulda got some white poly or something

Buy a roll of thin sheet metal at a building supply. Look for the stuff used as cut-to-size flashing in with the gutter materials. Cut an inch overside, and bend up the edges, taping or caulking/sealing the corners. Line that with panda or plastic painters dropcloth, or whatever.

Linoleum scrap works well too, if you can find an installer that will give you some.
