Catching trichomes during drying

In all the pictures I see of plants drying none show anything under the plants/buds to catch the trichomes or small particles. Why is this?
It only makes sense to me to hang in a paper bag or at least have a tray underneath.
What do you think?

They dont fall off unless you shake them....

I need a bowl after reading this.....

Chemmy weed loses trichs like that. Clean bud won't drop a single trich at room temp. I never even saw trichs in the bottom of a bag until goin into a dispensary.

Sorry but people need to wake up. I want to smoke when I'm in the nursing home, the way its going, all this dusty hay people have normalized as medicine, won't happen.

If you grind a bud, dump it out and all the trichs have seperated from the herb, back to the drawing board.
