Hi guys,
Last night, my 2700K CFL 250W suddenly just broke down - making a mad noise when that happened.
I almost thought there'd be somekind of a fire in my apartment or something, lol... 
I'm gonna throw that broken CFL in some goddamn trash and arrange a party since I finally got rid of it, and the chance to get a proper lighting.
SIDENOTE: I've got 4 grows under my belt, 3 soil (HPS) + 1 hydro/bubbler (cooltube)
However. me and my pal, whose project our indoor grow is, we went on a some sort of a "revenge-mode", and started looking for decent priced HPS 400W (and all that goes with it). So, we got it, for ca. 110€ with a little bit of supplies etc from a local growing store here in Helsinki, Finland.
We decided to give a little overhaul to the part of my apartment, where I'm currently growing my Sativa-Indica(?).
I'm gonna show some pictures later, if you're interested in seeing how my one plant is doing. Today it's the 8th day of flowering, and it's quite slow to start blooming. Also, I'm suddenly starting to think it's not as much Indica as I thought. And no, I don't know what strain the seed was that started all of this.
Anyhow, back to what happened. We drilled a hole for a hook in my concrete ceiling, which was a success. Now I've got the HPS and my grow area in good shape, except that I'm gonna need to make it 100% light-proof (meaining no light penetrates the "curtains" I have to seal off the growing area.
Last night, I wanted to post a topic here - and curse CFL's and whine like hell - but I was in such a shock due to my only grow light being broken, that I just couldn't do it.
That's why I'm doing it now, when the situation finally is solved.
My plant, named Jaakko (after my best friend), got a 15-16 dark period instead of its usual 12 hours. I don't think this made any damage to the plant or the flowering process. Although, I'd appreciate some feedback and as I said; Ask, and I'll post some photos of my plant - I'd really like to know if anyone of you could somehow guess what strain it might be. Tell you what; I'll post some pics ASAP. I just need to get them from my mobile to my PC so that I can upload them here.
Thanks for reading - Imy anxiety and insomnia is taken care of, since I got that new HPS. I LOVE IT! It was SO close, to end in a disaster, me not getting any yield except a shitload of leaves (loooooool)..
