is it ok if I put a cfl 23w 6500k bulb in a bayco clamp light that says it only requires a incandescent bulb

Post a picture of the clamp light but I don't see why not. I have used sockets from old fixtures for the cfl fixtures I made.

Yah, I got one over my Clones. Hooked up to a surge and timer. Only difference is I have a 105 Watt CFL.

View attachment 2796374 Here is the one I built.

You will need more than one.

You can split with Y sockets as well. The general rule of thumb is 50 watts per sf. Depends on where you are growing the plant. For veg you use a 6700K lamp/bulb and for flowering 2700k. Now I am a newb too, so what I have learned I have also been reading up on.
